1.Product Name:In-line PTFE Heater
The ultra-pure in-line PTFE heater is mainly composed of PTFE and heating wires externally coated
with PFA. Manufactured with premium-grade fluoropolymer materials, these heaters support customized
design. All fluid-contact parts are made of non-metallic materials. No harmful contaminant particles or
metal ions will be generated during operation, ensuring ultra-high purity and high reliability for users.
2.Scope of Application
Ideal for industrial fluid heating applications, including semiconductor, solar energy, MEMS
manufacturing and other industries requiring the most stringent purity standards. Suitable for deionized
water and low-corrosive chemical liquids.
3.Features
• Smooth PTFE fluid channel
• Zero risk of metal ion contamination
• Zero risk of harmful particle contamination
• Easy integration into existing systems
• Wide voltage range
• High efficiency and energy saving

FAQ

Are in-line water heaters worth it?

According to the U.S. Department of Energy, homes that use 41 gallons or less of hot water daily can see energy savings of 24% to 34% with a tankless water heater compared to a standard water heater. Even homes that use more hot water (around 86 gallons per day) can still save about 8% to 14% on energy costs.

How does an inline heater work?

Inline heaters make use of heating elements that are covered with a special type of vessel chamber that has anti-corrosion properties. This type of heating is indirect. The fluid is circulated through a closed loop around the heating element until it reaches the correct temperature.

Chemical Heater Selection Guide

In today’s world, we constantly depend on electronics such as computers, smartphones, automobiles, medical equipment, and much more. We rely on technologies that utilize key components made by state-of-the-art facilities, better known as “fabs” in the semiconductor industry. Semiconductor fab manufacturing processes use up to 430 different chemicals to manufacture a wafer; 65% are liquids, and 33% are gas phases

Depending on the application and process, those chemistries must be heated up to 100ºC / 212ºF. The Trebor® Inline Chemical Heater[2] is unlike any other heating technology on the market. It utilizes thin film on quartz electric resistive technology with a virgin PFA tube to create an ultra-pure fluid path. Quartz products exhibit excellent chemical resistance to most acid, alkaline, and neutral materials (exceptions being hydrofluoric acid and KOH).

You can use single-pass or recirculation heating when sizing the Inline Chemical Heater. We recommend adding a 20% buffer to the power requirement you’ll find from the calculation as a safety control factor.
