High Purity Heater is designed for the most demanding chemical applications, providing years of trouble-free performance. With high efficiency in a compact design, it serves as an excellent alternative for replacing strip heaters on quartz tanks. It is suited for bottom heater applications, and it fits inside tank wall requirements. All wetted parts are fluoropolymer and compatible with virtually any chemistry, offering unlimited process options (not to be used with flammable solutions). The low watt density design promotes process temperature uniformity. Available in single or three-phase configurations with power ratings from 1000-36000 watts and voltages from 110V-480V.

How Does the PTFE Immersion Heater Work?

PTFE immersion heaters work through a combination of resistive heating and the insulating properties of PTFE. Here's a breakdown of how they operate:
1. Heating Element: PTFE immersion heaters consist of a heating element typically made from a resistive material such as nickel-chromium (Nichrome) wire. This heating element is enclosed within a sheath made of PTFE, which is a highly non-reactive and insulating material known for its excellent chemical resistance.
