제품 설명
New Style Evap Heaters PTFE Immersion Heater 480V 3Phase 36KW For Acid And Corrosive Chemical Heating

Designed for heating plating solutions with exceptional chemical resistance to aggressive acids.

High Purity Heater is designed for the most demanding chemical applications, providing years of trouble-free performance. With high efficiency in a compact design, it serves as an excellent alternative for replacing strip heaters on quartz tanks. It is suited for bottom heater applications, and it fits inside tank wall requirements. All wetted parts are fluoropolymer and compatible with virtually any chemistry, offering unlimited process options (not to be used with flammable solutions). The low watt density design promotes process temperature uniformity. Available in single or three-phase configurations with power ratings from 1000-36000 watts and voltages from 110V-480V.

How Does the PTFE Immersion Heater Work?

PTFE immersion heaters work through a combination of resistive heating and the insulating properties of PTFE. Here's a breakdown of how they operate:
1. Heating Element: PTFE immersion heaters consist of a heating element typically made from a resistive material such as nickel-chromium (Nichrome) wire. This heating element is enclosed within a sheath made of PTFE, which is a highly non-reactive and insulating material known for its excellent chemical resistance.
2. Electricity Supply: When the PTFE immersion heater is connected to an electrical power source, electricity flows through the heating element. The resistive heating element offers resistance to the flow of electricity, causing it to generate heat as a byproduct.
3. Heat Transfer: As electricity passes through the resistive heating element, it heats up. The heat generated is then transferred to the PTFE sheath surrounding the heating element. PTFE has a high melting point and is an excellent insulator, which helps to contain the heat and prevent it from dissipating into the surrounding environment.
4. Immersion in Fluid: PTFE immersion heaters are designed to be submerged directly into the fluid that requires heating, such as water, oils, or chemicals. As the PTFE sheath heats up, it transfers the heat to the surrounding fluid through conduction.
5. Uniform Heating: The design of PTFE immersion heaters allows for uniform heating of the fluid, ensuring that the entire volume is heated evenly. This is important for applications where consistent temperature control is required.
6. Temperature Control: Some PTFE immersion heaters come with temperature control features such as thermostats or temperature sensors. These controls help regulate the temperature of the fluid by cycling the heater on and off as needed to maintain the desired temperature.
7. Applications: PTFE immersion heaters are commonly used in various industries, including chemical processing, pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, and water treatment. They are suitable for heating corrosive or sensitive fluids due to the chemical resistance of PTFE and the ability to provide precise temperature control.
In summary, PTFE immersion heaters operate by converting electrical energy into heat through resistive heating elements enclosed within a PTFE sheath. This heat is then transferred to the surrounding fluid through conduction, providing efficient and uniform heating for various industrial applications.
